"Lampable," Modular Design Set, 2021

This is a group project that I was a part of, along with 3 other people. The theme of our project involved creating a structure such as a lamp shade to surround a light source. We each designed our own lamp shades individually to correspond to our designated seasons. I had winter, while my other three teammates created designs for spring, summer, and autumn. While each of our design sets reflect different colors and iconography for the different seasons, our pieces, physically, can be built together to create customizable lamp shade shapes through the uniform slots and knotches within the pieces. We wanted to experiment with light for our project, especially regarding the potential images created with the light and shadows.
