"39-30-40," Screen print on paper and satin ribbon, 2023

"39-30-40" is a short collection of screen printing projects consisting of four collages and a tape sculpture. Through this collection, I explore my personal relationship with body image and beauty standards. With this series, I printed on numerous surfaces such as satin ribbon, cardboard, adhesive paper, Dura-Lar, and packing tape. The sculpture was constructed using packing tape. The ribbons were adhered to the sculpture using sewing pins.
The body sculpture "39-30-40" was showcased in the May 2023 San Jose State University printmaking show, Under Pressure, alongside a diverse variety of screen and relief printed pieces.
